This weekend Mike and I finished up most of our gardening work. We basically ripped out everything that I had done last year and most of what he had done and started over. We built brand new raised beds then filled them with some really nice new soil and compost.


Once everything looked good we went ahead and planted a new set of veggies followed by some shrubs. Hopefully you will agree that the garden looks MUCH better this year :)

On the veggie side this year I have planted:
- Turnip
- Radish
- Beat
- Onion
- Snap Peas
- Lettuce
- Green Peppers
- Carrots
- Potato
- Corn (Not sure how this will turn out)
- Pumpkin
